Nicki Gauthier is a Marketing and Advertising Business Coach, specializing in the practice of Social, Web, and Brand Strategy. Ms. Gauthier's business knowledge stems from over 12 years of entrepreneurial experience and over 8 years of UCSB teaching experience. Her passions include helping other business owners grow and build their business confidence. She proudly volunteers her time as a Business Mentor and Guest Speaker for a local non-profit organization called Women’s Economic Ventures (WEV) in Santa Barbara.

Nicki Gauthier works with brands to develop high-level strategies and initiatives in support of their marketing, advertising, and brand strategy. This process includes creating custom training curriculum and person-to-person training to execute marketing strategies. Her work helps clients define their brand strategy, maximize relationships (alliances, influencers, and partnerships), improve placement on search engine results pages (SERP), increase press and social media opportunities, and analyze overall web performance. The purpose of Ms. Gauthier's work is to increase brand visibility, credibility, usability, scalability, and most importantly, salability.
Ms. Gauthier shares web strategies as a Speaker and Panelist for executive boards, associations and nonprofits organizations. She has been a guest speaker for the Institute of Management Accountants, Ventura Community County Foundation Nonprofit Center, and Women's Economic Ventures (WEV). She has also been a guest panelist for the Santa Barbara Human Resources Association and Montecito Bank & Trust B2B Series. When she presents, she shows individuals how to leverage opportunities to build strategy and optimize brand management. Ms. Gauthier is also active in the professional design community and served as a Board Member for the AIGA Santa Barbara chapter from 2014 to 2017.
In 2010, she created the web analytics course at UC Santa Barbara Extension. In the course, students learn how to leverage web analytics data to optimize campaigns and measure success. During the course, students also learn about Search Engine Marketing (SEM) strategies such as, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Paid Search. Ms. Gauthier has over 12 years of entrepreneurial knowledge and branding experience which was gained from being a Chief Operations Officer for a boutique-marketing agency in Santa Barbara for 7 years. Prior to that, she helped run the marketing and sales department for a global rescue equipment manufacturing and distributing company for 3 years.
